Saskatchewan’s provincial health system is powered by a diverse workforce with unique scheduling needs.

Saskatchewan’s provincial health system is powered by a diverse workforce with unique scheduling needs. Multiple Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBAs) exist with rules around overtime, seniority, shift premiums, call-back, mandatory rest periods and more. To support this complexity, the MyScheduling system has been designed to ensure consistent and accurate application of scheduling requirements. Most importantly, it provides greater visibility into provincial scheduling needs.
“With MyScheduling, leaders can see where employees are needed most, and which shifts are being filled,” said Chris Pollock, Director of Human Resources Staff Services at the Saskatchewan Health Authority. “They can see trends in real time to make decisions quickly, based on an employee’s true availability.”
About 5,000 employees are currently using MyScheduling. As more staff transition to time validation and scheduling in AIMS, they’ll uncover even more features and benefits to support a more responsive and efficient scheduling experience.
