Among the many features of MyConnection is the MyLearning area. MyLearning delivers a variety of courses and modules including New Hire Orientation, Immunization Learning, Resilience Leadership and more. It will also be the source of AIMS Learning for all health system staff.

After logging in to MyConnection, you will navigate to the MyLearning tab on the main menu. After clicking on the MyLearning tab you will select ‘Access MyLearning’ to be taken to a page with your courses. With information being rapidly updated, it’s important to know about the learning that MyConnection offers on the latest topics.

This same area is where you will find the Administrative Information Management System (AIMS) courses specifically assigned to your role, approximately six weeks prior to when the system is to be implemented. There may be several modules or only a few. This will depend on whether you are among the majority of staff who will only need to learn a smaller set of tasks, or whether your role requires you to work in the system on a daily basis, as it relates to your work for Human Resources, Finance or Supply Chain.

AIMS Learning modules will be supplemented by instructional videos, standard work, quick reference guides and Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs). For those working daily in the system, there will also be practice exercises for some functionality, which can be performed within a simulation environment to become familiar with various tasks specific to your daily work. Your progress will be tracked as a convenience to provide an indication as to how far you have advanced through your modules.

Make sure to log in to MyConnection and click on MyLearning to see all there is to offer. There are many important features to familiarize yourself with in MyConnection.

In preparation for the transition to AIMS, please log on to MyConnection to ensure you have access to the site and also go to Gateway Online to make any necessary updates to your personal information.

Watch for more information on both MyConnection and AIMS Learning in future communications.
