Systems in Transition: Supply Chain

The Administrative Information Management System (AIMS) will replace many systems used in our day-to-day work upon the transition to a single software solution.

The Administrative Information Management System (AIMS) will replace many systems used in our day-to-day work upon the transition to a single software solution.

For Supply Chain some of these include:

  • MCL Technologies is software for the data capture which is required for barcode scanning
  • Markview for Accounts Payable integrates document capture, classification, information extraction and validation
  • Dynamed is software used for the management of inventory
  • ORMED Presto is an asset management software for procurement, depreciation and maintenance of capital and non-capital assets

AIMS will introduce a streamlined process for the management of Supply Chain procurement through to end use, establishing standardization across the province. From single provincial product stock keeping units (SKUs) through to the capabilities of the RF-SMART hand-held scanner, Supply Chain will be speaking the same language, ensuring that the right products are available at the right place and time.
