Systems in Transition: Gateway Online and VIP

The Administrative Information Management System (AIMS) will see many systems sunset that are mainstays of our operations across the province. One of these systems is Gateway Online.

Gateway Online has been the central hub for employees to update personal information, view pay statements, T4s and job postings, among other features. With the implementation of AIMS, employees will complete these tasks in the new system. For employees working in the former RQHR, VIP will also be retired. Similar to Gateway Online, VIP provides a central Human Resources hub for everything from recruitment to retirement. AIMS will integrate features of Gateway Online and VIP, and many additional convenient employee options, while also promoting provincial consistency.

Gateway will remain online for HR staff after AIMS is launched for a period of time to ensure the new system is functioning as it should. The timing of the overlap is still being determined.
